I was fortunate in the last few years to design for other brands too. During the years working for Avalon guitars I had the chance to develop different bevel styles, design several rosettes and I was responsible for numerous custom, hand made inalys.
In 2004 I had to redesign a range of Tony Zemaitis’s guitars after just a few bad quaity photographs and building the prototypes for Kanda-Shokai in Japan owning the Zemaitis name. Very rich guitars: silver bindings, plenty of inlays! I am convinced they are better made than the originals. In 2008 I had to design a few models for a brand called Craftine guitars in a celtic style. I am also doing some freelance design and consultation works for other companies.
